Jager Grips

Grips are such a personal thing on a bow it is a wonder why bow manufactures even try to create a grip for their bows. Especially on high end competition bows like Mathews, Martin, PSE and BowTech. Look down a shooting line and you'll rarely see two grips the same. Most of the top pro's will modify or build up their grips with racket tape, chemical metal, or that smelly green stuff that Win&Win produce!

Believe me I have tried all these variants!

Losch True Back Tension Release

The Carter Evolution has been the biggest selling release for Carter over the last 12 months and it is easy to understand considering the impact it has had on many archers shooting form. If you are not aware the Evolution works on a mechanism that activates when enough pressure is applied to the jaws. This can be adjusted to suit the archers holding weight and how much "back tension" they want to use to execute the shot, quite a smart piece of engineering really.

Angel Recurve and Compound Sight

There was a great deal of excitement when the new Angel compound and recurve sights arrived at Alternative Sporting Services. Having owned one of the original Angel compound sights I can’t say that I was that excited! However, I was approached to try this sight out, to be fair, on the principle that I am quite rough with stuff and if anybody was going to break it I would.
