WC BLOG: Final Preparation Shoot This Weekend
Spent this morning doing my final prep for this weekends shoot. This is the last competition I'll go to before the World's so it is important to come away feeling confident with the shooting form under competition conditions.
One of the great things about the club here in Luxembourg is the facilities. I get the opportunity to shoot indoors up to 70 meters if the weather is not so good outside. And today it was pretty horiffic outside, but I was still able to check my sight tape and make sure everything was all in place.
WC BLOG: Quick
Wow, gotta love Merlin, rang them Tuesday am at 10:30, got the replacement cable guards in the post Wednesday 12:30!!!
Back in business nice and quick, and this morning shooting for a set of marks for this weekend. 60m and 20m site marks to bash in to Archers Advantage.
If you have not used ArchersAdvantage before and especially if you shoot field, not only does it save an enourmous amount of time, it certainly reduces the errors you get when getting site marks.
WC BLOG: Bugger its broken
A short post today... got in about 3 ends this morning before the bracket for the cable guard broke, so a quick call to Merlin and they are sending a replacement.
I have my last preparation tournament this weekend in Belgium, which will hopefully allow me to iron out a few of smaller issues and also test out a revised distance judging method.
